What Are District Championships?

District Championships replace the UKs old Regional Circuit and form the introductory level of competitive play! They are run throughout the UK by local TOs and Judges, and are a fantastic opportunity for any Netrunner player to get involved in organised play!

This year, there will be 8 total districts across the UK:

• Birmingham on the 7th of February
• Brighton on the 14th of February
• Bathgate on the 14th of March
• Ipswich on the 14th of March
• London on the 28th of March
• Reading on the 4th of April
• Birkenhead on the 11th of April
• Bristol on the 25th of April

Prizing

This year, each District is organising it's own prizing. All will include 2026 District Championship Prize Kit by NSG, but additional prizes may vary by location.

At Reading, we will be providing additional prizing which will be announced closer to the events date.

Format

This event will be run as 9 rounds of Single Sided Swiss without a Top Cut.

Round 1 will begin at 11:00, Lunch will be after round 2 and end at 13:20, dinner will be after round 6 and will end at 17:40. The final round is expected to end and prizing to be handed out by 20:45, giving plenty of time for people to catch trains home or to join us for drinks!

Pub After

After the event, we have organised a trip to Zerodegrees Reading where you can get alcohol, soft drinks, and pizza. This is a 10 minute walk away from RISC.

Trains Home

The trains are a 15 minute walk away from both the pub and the venue itself, and a 10 minute walk away from Zeredegrees.

Venue Information & Accessibility

The RISC meeting rooms has step free access, but it is up a fairly steep incline. The entrance to the venue can be found up an alley way down the right hand side of the World Shop and Global Refills store.

Ticket Price & Maximum Capacity

The price for this event will be £17. Tickets are available here. If you are in hardship please get in touch with us and we can help you out! We can host up to 50 players at this event.
