Description

Join us in getting the competitive scene back online in Dunedin!

More details will be updated, but this is just to get an event up and let folks organise availability for the event! There will be at least one meetup for food and drinks. I'm also cooking an alt art for Transfer of Wealth, and I'll see if I can Scrounge up some of my non-alcoholic Diesels! Image

Format

There will be 5 rounds of Single Sided Swiss, 6 depending on turnout; rounds will be 45 minutes. We will be playing in the Standard format which will include the cards from Vantage Point as well as the 26.03 banlist update released with details in this article.
• Vantage Point Standard
• Single Sided Swiss no top cut
• 45 minute rounds

Timing

Venue opens their doors at 10:30am, so registration starts from when we can get in at 10:30am. First round will look to start at 11:00 or 11;30 (depending on turnout). Rounds will be timed at 45 minutes and we'll look to break for lunch between rounds 2 and 3 for an hour (or less, we will discuss as a group on the day).

All going to plan we should wrap up Saturday by 6pm (6 Rounds Swiss and 1 hour for lunch) and we can grab bite for dinner somewhere. On Sunday we'll try and run a cube draft on if folks are keen on that.

Entry

Entry will be $20NZD payable to me on the day

Player Expectations

This is a competitive-level event, and as such has stricter expectations on competitors. The main things to note are:
• Proxies are legal (at all levels of play), but please ensure that your proxies are legible (handwritten proxies are not allowed).
• Printed decklists are mandatory (ordered by Type and then Alphabetical). There will be printed templates available to handwrite your decklist if needed (also NetrunnerDB has a deck printout function).
• Alt Arts must adhere to Appendix III of the NSG Organised Play Policy. If you are unsure if your alt arts adhere, please check with the TO prior to the tournament (and bring the original card as a back up).

Venue Information

Dunedin Model and Games Store is the home to Dunedin's local scene. The store has a wide range of Wargames, RPGs, Boardgames, Dice and other gaming accessories on offer, as well as a selection of snacks and non-alcoholic drinks! They're a bit quirky, but that's why we like them!

The store is at 110 Moray Place, Central Dunedin, Dunedin 9016, New Zealand. It's through the big double doors and usually has a clone trooper cardboard cutout checking IDs! Any issues finding the place, feel free to sing out.
